About

About Soul Care Psychology

Soul Care Psychology – with awareness of the body, soul and Spirit -  an holistic approach to therapy  provides a supportive, compassionate environment and utilises evidence-based practices, with an experienced  therapist to promote change and enrich lives of children, adolescents and adults seeking to manage their emotions, behaviours and past traumas more effectively.

What do Psychologists do?

Psychologists seek to help people function better. Psychologists specialise in the study of normal and abnormal human behaviour & emotions. This includes memory, learning, human development and the way people feel and react. Psychologists can treat a wide range of psychological concerns affecting individuals and families, however unlike psychiatrists (who are medical practitioners), psychologists in Australia do not prescribe medication to treat mental illness.
